The 2026 theme

Cultural Avant-Garde

This year's theme brings cultural heritage and forward-thinking fashion together.

Designers are invited to honor the traditions, stories, textiles, craftsmanship, and identities of their communities while transforming those influences into bold, experimental, and innovative design. Think dramatic silhouettes, unexpected materials, artistic construction, contemporary interpretations of traditional garments, and meaningful cultural storytelling.

Every collection should respectfully represent the designer's inspiration while presenting a fresh vision of how culture can shape the future of fashion.
